Director/Instructor : Leanne Teague Deal

I began studying dance at the age of 2 years old in St Petersburg, Florida. I moved to Wilmington NC and continued my studies while living there. Locally, I studied with Ron Breaire, Treva Benfield and Louis Nunnery and I began teaching at 16 years old under Treva Benfield. While at East Carolina University, I studied ballet, modern and jazz as well as theater.

I have been married to Dean Deal for 34 years and have three children; Stephanie, Christine and Derek. I teach preschool in the mornings at Taylorsville Presbyterian Preschool.

I began teaching dance full time at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota and opened my first studio in Taylorsville when my husband left the Air Force in 1986.

Whether you are looking for a fun activity for your child or you wish your child to study dance for a future in performing arts, we can assit you. We also offer classes for adults that want to have fun, release stress or regain fitness and flexibility.

We provide an environment that accentuates the positive while encouraging growth in dance and performance.

While we need a quiet atmosphere for each dancer to get the most out of each class, we do not shut our parents out. You may leave to run errands during class or remain in our lobby.
